Todd Lawlor is a Partner in the Firm where he
represents individuals and businesses in a wide breadth of industries.
Recent representations have included work on behalf of a major New York City
commercial real estate owner, classical musical instrument manufacturer, software design
companies, a fine wine retailer, a professional camera manufacturer, an
world-renowned interior and restaurant design architect, an educational science
company, and commercial and residential construction companies. Mr. Lawlor's work
encompasses civil litigation at both the state and federal trial court and
appellate levels.
Mr. Lawlor is a member of the Committee on Election Law for the Association
of the Bar of the City of New York where he is the Chairman on the
Subcommittee for Instant Runoff Voting. Mr. Lawlor is also a member of the
Conservation Advisory Board for the Village of Dobbs Ferry. He is also active in
politics, including having worked as a field coordinator for the
Presidential campaigns of Senator John Edwards in 2004 and Senator Bob Kerrey in
1992.
A founding member of the Firm, Mr. Lawlor received his B.A. from the Denison
University in Granville, Ohio in 1991 and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve
University School of Law in 1995. Mr. Lawlor clerked for the Honorable
Thomas J. Moyer, Chief Justice for the Supreme Court of the State of Ohio.
He is admitted to practice in the States of New York and Ohio.
Before working as an attorney, Mr. Lawlor was the an artistic programming
director at Denison University where he booked a wide range of musicians. In
what remains of his spare time, Mr. Lawlor runs many miles, plays guitar and
is the best father he can be.
