Lawlor & Rella is well-equipped to

client base includes rock bands, classical musicians (including world-renowned
soloists and artists from the Metropolitan Opera and the Philadelphia
Orchestra), theatrical producers, Broadway performers, independent record
companies, professional musical instrument manufacturers, filmmakers, writers,
and composers.
We offer a full array of services for our clients
in the entertainment industry. Representative matters include:
· Prepared and negotiated contracts on behalf of the producers
of the independent film “Were
the World Mine,” which opened to excellent reviews in theatres
Nationally and has garnered several important film festival awards.

Provided ongoing legal counsel to an internationally
recognized Indie Jazz Label based in New York City.
· Negotiated contracts with major media
companies and theatrical producers on behalf of actors, directors,
writers, musicians and filmmakers.
· Prepared licensing agreements on behalf
of recording artists whose music was used in feature films,
television shows, and commercials.

Established a jazz recording label and
prepared agreements between the label and its musicians and graphic
artists, including the negotiation of sound recording licensing
agreements with major record labels.
· Acted as legal counsel to numerous
professional classical musicians and indie bands in connection with recording, endorsement, and
licensing agreements and copyright/trademark issues.
In addition, when he is not behind his desk or in front of a
judge, Mr. Rella, a member of the Actors' Equity Association, works actively as
a professional actor, musician and writer. As result, we will be able to relate
